Mobile knee orthosis with patellar support and lateral articulations
Tubular, closed orthosis, made of textile, provided with:
• a non-slip silicone elastic band (10mm) inside the upper part
• 2 straps for fixation provided with elastic hook and loop fastener, that mold to the conical anatomy of the thigh and calf, preventing the orthosis from slipping
• 2 metal splints with mobile articulations, one on each side
• patellar support (polyethylene foam).
Length: 32 cm.
The orthosis is a support for the knee joint, the two polycentric, lateral metal splints providing stability and safety in use.
Due to its tubular, sleeve shape, it is not recommended to be used in case of oedema or significant swelling.
It is used in lateral instability of the knee, traumas or injuries at the level of the knee, inflammatory processes, for postoperative recovery.
Neoprene, with textile liner on both sides.
• The neoprene microporous cellular structure, with excellent shock absorption and heat storage properties, provides perfect thermal protection. Thermal effects help improve blood circulation and relaxation of the muscles.
• Due to the elastic texture of the material, neoprene products fix and protect the areas they cover, giving them flexibility. Without limiting the movements of the joints and muscles, the neoprene ensures a uniform distribution of pressure during the movement.
