The orthosis is open at the back, made of textile, provided with:
• a non-slip silicone elastic band (10mm) inside the upper part
• 2 straps for fixation provided with elastic hook and loop fastener, that mold to the conical anatomy of the thigh and calf, preventing the orthosis from slipping
• one strap for fixation at the popliteal level, for an effective circular fixation
• 4 flexible metal splints, 2 on each side
• patellar support (polyethylene foam).

The orthosis is a support for the knee joint, the 4 flexible metal splints, 2 for each side providing stability and safety in use.
Due to its particular shape, it can be used also in case of a deformed knee, the compression can be adjusted by the back closure system.
It is used in the crick, luxation, post-fracture, lateral instability of the knee, inflammatory processes. It is recommended both as orthopedic treatment and postoperative.
