Mobile knee orthosis with patellar support and lateral articulations
Orthosis made of textile, open in the front, provided with:
• a non-slip silicone elastic band (10mm) inside the upper part
• 2 hook and loop straps on the thigh
• 2 hook and loop straps on the leg
• 2 metal splints with mobile articulations, one on each side
• cutout in the popliteal region for comfort.
At the level of the opening for the knee cap, the textiles are overlapped, and after the orthosis is closed, a circular patellar support is created.
Length: 38 cm.
Due to its particular shape, it can be used also in case of a deformed knee.
The compression can be adjusted by the frontal closure system and the 4 fastening straps
It is used in lateral instability of the knee, traumas or injuries at the level of the knee, inflammatory processes, for postoperative recovery.
The laminated textile ensemble behaves like a moisture regulator, ensuring a quick transfer of the moisture to outward.
